Casper Residents Recovering After Wind Stops

At about 2:07 p.m on February 10th., Casper residents fell to the ground after the wind stopped blowing for a record 2.3 minutes. The residents are use to walking against or with the wind, so in brief moments that the wind stops, people fall over.

Although it’s not uncommon to have the wind not blow in Casper, this record 2.3 minutes is the longest period of time it has stopped. People that were outside walking fell to the pavement, that caused onlookers to go outside to try and help the fallen citizen, causing them to fall as well and that’s what caused the 100’s of pile ups all over town. Once the wind began blowing again, people raised back up and continued their day.

Only few minor injuries such as scrapes and broken necks were reported.
